need help w offseason

please help me on the contracts...

some say "renewable" and some say "arbritation eligible"

i get those. but do i need to sign a contract for EVERY player on my roster? what if its a 19 yr old prospect that is 3 years from MLB.

if the player has 0.456 service time, what do i make their contract? does the game automatically track when they will be arbitration elig???

thanks

There are 90 players total.
Not all of them should be in their final year, but yes....you must either offer
-a regular contract(length will vary) to all players in their final year
OR
offer them a contract renewable contract(to players who are 25 and younger...they are "under control" to you until they are 26.....if they turn down a multi year deal(they can and will turn down multi year deals) you MUST offer them a contract renewable contract in the last few weeks of the off season.
Be aware....there is no notification that they turned it down(oversight on SCEA's part) and if you don't offer them a CR contract...they are FA's.
OR
they are arbitration eligible and they and the team must abide by the arbitrator's #'s if that's the way you want to go.

if a players contract is
1/1, 2/2, 3/3 etc......he must
-be offered a deal
-be offered a contract renewable offer
-an arbitration offer.

You can offer them at least 80% of their current contract(which is the contract renewable offer)

Remember that if you do offer them a deal OUTSIDE of the contract renewable offer, they might refuse it and you WON'T get a notification(I'm just mentioning it because you will see them on the FA market and wonder WTF?)....that's why you go to the offer screen that last week of the off season and give them the offer then.
