Add/remove player from playoff roster

Hello:

I looked at the previous similar threads and they do not fit my situation entirely.

I'm the Tigers and I made the World Series against the Reds. I got a message saying the Victor Martinez was eligible to be added to the playoff roster after being on the DL. However, when I went to add him, the only choices were to release him, edit him, or remove him from playoff roster. I checked my lineup and bench, but he is not on it. I went to remove Albert Callaspo from my playoff roster in order to add Victor but the game said I had to add someone first.

In other words I'm stuck as I can't add Victor Martinez or remove Callaspo.

Any help would be appreciated.
