Is the online pass required to obtain roster updates?

This question popped up in the similar threads while I posted this topic and did not find the answer. Gohastings.com is selling used copies of The Show 12 for $35 for the PS3, and I was gonna pull the trigger at that price. I know The Show uses the online pass, but is that pass needed to obtain roster updates or is that just for online play only? If I do need the pass, I'm assuming it's around $10, which would still make that price a good deal. Thanks for those that take the time to answer my question.

I believe the answer to your question would be yes but im not 100% positive since that all comes up when you load the game. Probably have to do some research but your right either way its still.a good price
