NL Central Franchise team

Could use some advice and was wondering what you guys think.

For my franchise I want to pick a team in the NL Central because I will have the most fun playing the other teams in that division. I was thinking Cardinals, Reds, or Brewers (in that order) but was unsure if I would grow bored because the teams would be too good and could contend for a title in my first season on the show. Maybe one of the other three teams (Cubs, Pirates, Astros) but I really just don't know if I would have fun playing with any of their rosters so I am stuck.

EDIT: Despite the title, I originally wanted to go w SD. Best stadium, could rebuild, and Hudson is one of my favorite players. But playing in the NL West would probably suck. The DBacks and Rockies are lame as hell

Please let me know what you guys think.

Houston Astros. The are in rebuilding mode. Plus they moving into a new division. They are a true challenge and every win you get you will scrap for it and feel quite good about it.

Pirates are an interesting young team IMO.

either the Astros or Pirates just cause of the reason u gave...u dont know any of their rosters....what's more interesting then intrigue and to use a poker term, going all-in blind? who knows? u may come out smelling like roses if u play ur cards right

if u feel ur strength is pitching, then yes SD makes perfect sense but i wouldnt classify Arizona and Colorado as lame teams....Colorado has Tulo and Cargo while Arizona has Upton
