Best pitches for a starting pitcher in RTTS

What are the best pitches to start out with in RTTS? I want him to be a power pitcher with his fastball topping out at around 98-100. I don't know what I should make the 2nd and 3rd pitches to start out. Also, should what pitches should I focus on making better? And, what would be the best team to start out on. Thanks for the help.

A starter, right?

I'd think a slider and a sinker would be good.

Or curve and cutter.

My theory is that you don't want a slider/cutter combo because they both have the same sort of movement.

Running FB
Cutter
Circle Change

The runner/cutter combo is deadly. Having a fastball that breaks off the plate against both lefties and righties is a great way to get a hitter on either side of the plate to chase and strike them out. Every pitcher should have a change up, I prefer the circle change - doesn't matter which its your preference. After those 3 I'll probably give myself a 12-6 and be good to go with those 4.

Im pretty sure you can get the runner way up in gone high 90s, but if you really want the power 4 seamer, I'd go Cutter and circle change. They break in opposite directions, so again you can put either of those pitches on the corner and have them break off and away to either a lefty or a righty.

I'm killing time waitin' on some new rosters, so I created a 45 year old "junk ball" lefty starter...

Splitter
Screwball
Palmball

My only experience in RTTS was creating a similar knuckellballer a couple years ago, and that went VERY poorly...

I'm not sure what to expect out of my new guy...

He IS sporting the stirrups, so at least he'll be gettin' rocked in style...

If you go 4-seamer, I'd add a sinker, cutter, split and a power curve.

I usually go with

4 seam fastball
12-6 curve
Changeup.

Kind of basic, but I usually will then add a slider and then another fastball.

Running fastball or a sinker. 2-seam fastballs start really slow, so I wouldn't go with that.
Circle-change
12-6 curve

When you have the points, add a cutter. This is your out-pitch against opposite handed hitters. Finally I add a slider for the fifth pitch.
