How many games do you typically play in Franchise and RTTS?

Hey Everyone,

I'm curious to see how everyone plays their Franchise and RTTS.

Typically for Franchise, I play a game for every 5 I sim. It seems to keep stats realistic without getting burned out.

For RTTS, I play a game for every 3 I sim. (I play 2B though, so games are never very long).

How do you play?

I live for RTTS and play every single games and never sim.

I am too afraid the CPU will screw up my stats that I work hard to achieve.

Ditto. Can't trust the cpu with my career. :-)

Exactly! Plus in '11, I went on a tear and decided that I wanted to get to the post season in a hurry, so I sim'd a few games and even though I was tearing it up and thought the CPU would carry that on, they dropped my ERA from 0.58, to 2.45!!!!!

The logic for sim is not right.

On MLB11, I played 40 games out of a 162 game season. Never done it before, but this year I'm going to try to play the whole thing...and it'll probably take me until the fall.

I play all 162 games in Franchise and every game in RTTS every year.

One game a day in Franchise to match up with the real life MLB season. Love doing this.

I always start a RTTS but never finish. I always get so caught up in my franchise. And last season I was running both a modern day Yankees chise along with my beloved 1987 Yankees chise (in year two on that one but will await the new 1987 set for 2012 and start over).

In franchise mode I play every spring training game and the first two months of the season. Then I play it by ear. Nornally on average I play just over 100 games and sim 50-60. Post season I of course play every game.

I play every game in RttS (the only thing I ever play). As others have mentioned, I don't want the CPU to screw up my stats such as strikeouts
