Trade and Signing logic fixed? NOT

The devs for the show came out with an article before the show 11 even came out that said the trade and signing logic was fixed. I DON'T THINK SO. In no way would the yankees trade DEREK JETER to the angels for a minor league prospect from the angels and they would not trade ALEX RODRIGUEZ to the phillies for dominic brown. And the pirates would not trade PEDRO ALVAREZ to the padres for jason bartlett. There were some other questionable trades to but now lets talk free agent signings before the allstar game. The PHILLIES did now have any injuries to any of there pitchers(starters or releivers) but they decided to sign BEN SHEETS in one franchise and then signed SCOTT KAZMIR in another. The YANKEES signed BEN SHEETS in a different one. Just doesn't make sense. I hope they FIX all of this for MLB 12 the show or it will not sell as good.

How exactly would you fix that to be the way you want? Who would thought the Astros would trade Lance Berkman, who thought the Phillies would trade Cliff Lee to Seattle for prospects, who thought the Cardinals would sign Berkman when they already had Pujols and play him in the OF, who thought the Yankees would sign a closer and make him the 8th inning guy? I can't stand people who complain about what the CPU does. Are they not allowed to add pitching depth?

I'm pretty sure if the Yankees could get Dom Brown for Rodriguez they would. They still have to pay him for 6 more years.

Pedro Alvarez is in the minors because he's struggled, he's not as sure a prospect as he was. (See Alex Gordon)

That's also the beauty of 30 team control. I love the ability to set one profile to auto and monitor the trades. That way if you don't like the trade, you can rescind it.

The CPU doesn't know A-Rod.

Once you accept that fact, the trade logic makes sense

Who knew back in late '03 that all it took was Alfonso Soriano and a couple of no-name prospects for Alex Rodriguez?

Baseball is unpredictable like that.

Sure the Yankees ended up paying for Rodriguez, but you get my point with the trade. Hopefully.

Honestly, if you can't let go of the "name factor" for video games, you'll never like the trade logic.
Do this...go into the roster section and download the fictional roster set and start a franchise with them.
You won't even give trades a second thought.
That's how the CPU sees it.

needs to be fixed for next year so the CPU does know players names. needs to be something along the lines of a prestige to the team rating or something. we shouldnt have to accept things that have zero percent chance of happening in real life. the yanks may trade arod, who knows, but they will NEVER trade jeter.
