Have you ever made contact with a pitch that bounced for a hit?

I got a clutch sac bunt down on a pitch that bounced 5 ft before the plate and it stayed fair. Anyone actually got a swinging hit off one?

Unfortunatly no, but ive had plenty of opportunities...

The thing that makes me luagh is the one that bounce then go through the strike zone and the commentators act as though the umpire made a bad call...

Yeah I swung with Eric Young Jr and hit what should have been a double but the outfielder miss read it so it ended up a HR

Haha, I actually did this in my local softball league on the weekend, it was a bit of a luagher since their pitcher didn't show up, so they had some other hack on the mound who could barely throw a strike, I made up my mind i was gonna hit his next pitch, it bounced in the dirt and i hit it, it popped up and landed in between 2nd, short and the pitcher and I beat it out coz everyone was to busy laughing to make the play... Best Hit Ever...

Darn! I should've saved the video. Had an excuse-me check-swing that flew over the surprised 3B and went for a double. I laughed. That's actually a pretty cool part of the game in that the defense was totally like "???" "!!!" when I did it.
