Anyone know if there will be a roster update patch after Opening Day?

Just as the title states, I'm wondering if anyone has any info in regards to whether or not they are going to release a patch update after teams have set there rosters for opening day in real life, to match, or at least make available players that may not be available now on The Show.

Example: Bartolo Colon is going to be on the opening day roster for the Yankees. As of now he isnt even on the game, as a free agent or anything.

I believe they release roster updates on a weekly basis during the reg season

Hmm....thanks for the reply Dmanzano. I havent noticed that happening over the last few seasons myself. I'm not sure though....obviously by my question.

If that is the case should you always start a new season AFTER a certain time (for example opening day) selecting using "current rosters"?

Should you? That's a subjective question. Only you can answer that. Depends on what you want.


Knights rosters is a edited roster with many improvements, among them full real minor league rosters.

Knight rosters, this year more accurately OS Rosters, can be found on the Roster vault when they are done. They are shooting to have them done by opening day.
