I'm the Red Sox, and I offered the following trade to the Rockies and they accepted, to my astonishment. Just wondered what you guys think I could maybe add because I think I'm ripping them off...

Rockies receive:
Dice-K Matsuzaka P
Josh Reddick (B pot RF)
Michael Bowden (A pot P)

Red Sox receive:
Carlos Gonzalez LF
Some C pot P

PS: The rosters are almost identical to when I started but the Rockies have made a trade to get a new young outfielder (BJ Upton for Jorge de la Rosa with prospects)

I would consider it if I was the Rockies I mean an A potential SP, with a nice B potential prospect who can become an everday players. Plus you can get a middle to back of the rotation starter to fill for Jorge De La Rosa.. But then again Cargo is a big stick, it depends really if the Rockies are going for the divison or not.

Truthfully I would probably replace Reddick with Ryan Kalish (another B RF, but is better all around and only 24 [Reddick is 23] and Kalish is going to be Boston's starter in RF next year to replace JD Drew. Colorado is contending for the division and Cargo is on their trade block wanting pitchers... So idk

Idk what rosters ur using or what year of ur franchise ur currently in but reddick has a D potential and bowden has a C potential in Knight's OSFM rosters...With that being said, I would prolly substitute reddick for any of these guys to make the trade more even: middlebrooks, pimental, vitek, navarro

I'm not using OSFM, but I don't know for sure which rosters these are based off of. A buddy and I recreated Pittsburgh's minors (my hometown team is PIT's AAA) along with some more well known prospects like Harper and Hicks and Kyle Gibson (who I know personally, not because he's well known). All I know is those guys have the potentials I wrote. If this roster is as messed up as you're saying I'll get the OSFM and restart my franchise... (I'm a month or so in). I didn't realize these were screwed up.

I'm not saying your rosters are messed up...nor am i one to question any prospect's potential..I'm just giving u an opinion from another perspective..Personally i LOVE Knight's OSFM rosters since it contains 99.9% of the minor leaguers including all the prominent ones like u just named....He seems to know what he's doing

Then I'll have to check his OS Full Minors out. Sounds like a crap ton of work, though. I hope it was a job well done, and from what is said it is. If it is I'll definitely consider redoing my franchise since it's so young anyway. Thanks!
