Slight delay on my TV. Fastballs suck.

I never noticed a slight delay on my TV until I played The Show on my projector screen and I, all of a sudden, was able to pull 95mph fastballs into left field; a task that was extremely rare on HOF.

The more I played between my projector and TV the more I noticed the delay. It must be milliseconds because I can still make contact, but nowhere near as well on the TV.

Does anyone have any suggestions/ideas/fixes/condolences?

The only thing I've ruled out is the HDMI cable, since the delay remains when I switch to the RGB HD cables.

The TV is 5070HD Pioneer 50(or52? dunno) Plasma through a Monster Power HTS 1600 Surge Protector.

I'm still trying to find a good HDTV with no terrible input lag. Really gets on my nerves and all game mode does for me is cha.ge the lighting of the screen apparently.

It shocks the hell out of me to see that Guitar Hero and Rock Band are the only games that allow you to set the amount of TV lag to compensate for.

An option like this only makes sense if you need to time a very precise controller input... nothing like baseball.

I have had the same lag issues with all my Samsung HDTVs....I have finally found a TV that does not have the lag issue.....and just so happens to have the best picture I've seen thus far on a HDTV.....

My Samsung Plasma has been fine as far as lag. I just suck at analog hitting right now.

Check out the AVS forums. Once you filter through the fanboy posts you can get some really good information and help.
