Dropped a 374ft bomb with Josh Hamilton to right field. It was crushed and if there wasnt any wind it would have for sure gone swimming.

Just played a game where Hamilton simply missed a 'can o corn' in left field...I'm sure I have never seen that before. I ended up winning my first game as a result

A little thing I just noticed: In the audio/video option screens, many of the sliders are shown twice? For example there are two sets of sliders for the commentators volume...one set is locked off, while the other is active? Same for Horizontal/Vertical size/position...

Is this for 2P games? Seems odd to me.

The locked audio sliders are unlocked if you have Music Mode On, so you can have seperate sliders for when that is enabled without having to adjust it every time. This is really cool actually, I hate having to adjust the in-game volume every time I just want to listen to music, now they're saved separately.

I don't see any duplicate screen size settings, 2 for horizontal(Position and Size) and same for Vertical.

Re: MLB 11 The Show Demo Available Now, Post Your Impressions Here

Put a lot of hours into this today to get everything set for myself for relase of the retail version. And SCEA has definitely knocked it out of the park. The analog controls feel perfect and are definitely a significant upgrade over the first iteration of analog controls offered in other baseball games.

Once the hitting clicked for me I was able to string some hits and nice at-bats together and have been having some really interesting games just batting for each team. I am still not 100% sure on using the right stick to swing inside/outside since the tutorial didn't say anything about, but with my success I would assume I'm doing something right.

The biggest thing I noticed was how horrible Tim Lincecum's long hair looked in the game. For as much as SCEA get's right graphically that hair just looks terrible. They should have spent some more time working on that hair, because well it doesn't look good. It looks like Tim Lincecum put about 10 bottles of gel in his hair, and they he pitched a game. The hair just looks like one solid mass

To put an end to that dilemma, SCEA should send Lincecum some money to have his hair cut, with the promise that if he does so, he will be the next cover boy!
