The Next Three Langston Hughes
I may not be to only one who noticed this and started a topic about it, but has anyone noticed that the three announcers tend to rhyme, and frequently?
"Sliced into right."
"Two-oh to Robinson Cano"
"something something bird (or a word like that) something something nineteen pitches in only two and two thirds"
"Fastball, too low, it's one-and-oh."
These are just rough examples of what I've been hearing today after playing three games in my Franchise.
I swear, these are barely the only ones. I've heard them say MUCH more, like, it composes some 30-40% of what they say. I didn't notice it at first, shrugged it off after, but now I'm really starting to notice it.
Anyone else?
EDIT: If anyone finds anymore rhyming lines from them, feel free to post them here. It's good to get a measure of how frequent it happens.
