Ok, this is something I find puzzling.
I play all 162 games in my Franchise every year since MLB '08: The Show. In doing that, I also keep up with everyday transactions to have my game be based on real life transactions.
Anyway, anybody that has been traded this year after July 31 has obviously been placed on trade waivers. Now, when I place said players on trade waivers in the game, it does not allow me to trade them after they clear waivers. I always get the message saying the trade was rejected. I control all 30 teams too, and I find this really odd.
For example, Chris Dickerson was traded from the Reds to the Brewers for Jim Edmonds, Mike Fontenot was traded from the Cubs to the Giants, and Jose Guillen from the Royals to the Giants today. Seeing as it didn't let me trade them after they cleared trade waivers, I had to place them all on trade waivers again and have their new team claim them instead. I'm not saying it's a huge deal to go the claim route, but I am just curious if anybody has an answer as to why trading doesn't work after clearing waivers.
Thanks a lot to anyone who happens to know the answer to this. |

I've had the same problem, but I wasn't smart enough to use 30 team. I have been trying to do the Fontenot trade but the CPU won't let me trade anyone even after I have done the waivers and everything. I wonder if there is some kind of fix????
