Theres just something about making saves that makes me giddy. And I think if I can get on a good team, the single season save record could be obtainable.

But then again, there is the thrill of going for a No-Hitter as a starter.

I would recommend being a starting pitcher. I've heard too many bad things about being a closer. Things like not many opportunities, and also not being able to gain enough training points.

I've had a starter going in RTTS this year, and I couldn't be happier with it. I pitched a complete game shutout with my starter yesterday and I got 750 training points after the game. I was lucky enough to throw another complete game shutout in my next start as well. Well over 1,000 training points in two games.

Another good thing about making a starter is that you can get through seasons a lot quicker since you only have to pitch every fifth day.

Either way, enjoy!

i havnt done RTTS this year but if i did i would be a closer. I am like you when it comes to closing and think its alot of fun. I did a RTTS last year and i didnt have any issues with the goals or anything, but that was last year

I vote SP. It is incredibly fun. I am in my 12th year in the big leagues and have made every single start. I have played in three WS (winning it each time with the Red Sox, Yankees, then Rays) and won a Cy Young award. There is no better feeling then a complete game shutout (especially in the postseason).
