Certain teams shoes?? I notcied that I cant edit Dodgers, Royals. Anyone know if thats just a glitch or if it was meant to be that way??

I guess it was meant to be that way.
I think the A's are locked into white also.

I remember reading a thread somewhere that it was locked that way. All the teams that wore colored shoes in 09 are all uneditable. The cardinals fall under this category,too.

I think it is rule those teams have to wear the same color. I know the A's have to wear white. I remember years ago talking to some A's players and they told me the team said they could only wear white shoes. I think that is so true today.

Well I know that Derrick Lee, Marlon Byrd and Alfonso Soriano all wear "custom" cleats and not the standard blue cleats. Those three immediately come to mind, but there could be more. Soriano and Lee have done so for a few years now, not sure about Byrd. So not sure why they locked the Cubs and not sure why they made the Cubs with the gray middle color rather than just all blue.

Certainly this is in no way a "negative" for me in regards to the game, just an annoyance. The game is wonderful so I'll live :P

Thats how I feel about it. I was just wondering. Ive noticed a lot players that play for the teams that wear colored cleats are adding more white to them.

Maybe next year they will let us customize these teams but only be able to use the color of their team and white. For example, I could edit Pujols's cleats and make the the heel of the shoe white or something like that.

Hitman did an excellent job with his post in that thread you linked. Hopefully they will listen to him in the future.
