Ok, lets see if i got this straight.

I just set up a situation where i got the bases loaded with two outs by striking out the first two hitters and then intentionally walked the next three.

I then managed to get the next hitter to ground to my 1st baseman who took the ball to 1st by himself to FORCE the batter out.

No run was counted in this situation. So it isn't happening everytime like was stated unless this is a different senario in some way.

Yeah ... so will this patch also fix the potential glitch in RTTS? I heard people talkin about there being a glitch in the RTTS which didn't allow them to progress or something.

Also will it fix the potential glitch or issue that is holding Knight back from working on his rosters? Thanks.

It happens occasionally if the guy on third is quick and he crosses the plate before the out at first is recorded.

Yes, if you are connected to PSN, the first time you start the game you'll be prompted to download the latest patch.

Yes. As soon as you install and start the game, you'll see a message: "An update is available. Click OK to download".

Yeah I have yet to see that run counting. I had several games where the runner on third crosses home before the forceout but i have yet to see it. Thats a good thing though!!!!
