Defensive subs while batting?
Is this possible?
I love how you can take a pitcher out while batting. I always like ending the 7th with my starter (if he gets that far) and starting fresh with a new guy the next inning.
But can the same be done with positional players?
Here is an example. Victor Martinez gets a hit late in the game. I sub in Bill Hall to run for him, knowing I'll have Varitek catch the next inning.
But the inning starts off with Bill Hall catching, and the announcers even say it. And what is worse they show him in the catching gear. I immediately sub in Tek, but sometimes I forget if I am on fast play.
I can't seem to find a way to fix this while I am batting. Can this be done?
