How to play franchise

Hey as I am waiting on the delivery of my version here in Denmark. I was wondering how people are playing their respective franchises. Are you playing every single game (150+ games or whetever) because you have no life outside The show or do you play like one game each series.

I really like to progress in franchise mode. Last year was my first experience with a baseball game and I did not find a satisfying way of playing my franchise. I started out playing every game but realised I would never be able to finish jsut a fraction of the season...

I'll do multiple franchises. One I'll try and play a game a day, and keep up with the season. Then I'll have a sim/play franchise, where I'll play some and sim some. And if I'm feeling really crazy, I'll do a sim/play fantasy draft franchise.

I won't have time to play every game, that's for sure. However, I'd like to play for the gold trophies (win the world series having played at least half the games of the regular season, and all the playoffs games). That's around 100 games to go all the way.

I'll play all the Cubs games (my rivalry team), the Interleague games (cause there's just so many of them), and then one or two games of every series (playing the most interesting pitching matchiup).

In the end, I'd like to play enough games to qualify for the trophies, then play for the gold
