Playing without budgets on, does it help stop the CPU from making ridiculous trades to dump salary?

Did the roster update fix anything? Does the game still have huge issues? Anything fixed or improved today?

It would appear that the MLB players potential ratings have been fixed which is what was promised. However the Minor league excess of A potential pitchers remains. I seen a count of 120 some A potential pitchers vs 20 position players.

Hopefully this is addressed in the "if" patch or next roster update.

And its hard to focus on one team this way, because in the standings, all of the teams are highlighted yellow because your controlling all of them. Its too much of a hassle for some people.

I'm still going to start my franchise today, but the best bet for me is to just sim one day at a time, and make sure no trades were made. I can't go through the draft having to select for all 30 teams, that is no fun.

wait, so If I only wanna control my team and my team only, the AI will trade players from my team with out me knowing?


I just wanna control one team and thats it, I don't care much about other trades in the league, will I be good?

The Trop thing is a big deal for those that play as the Rays. I love MLB 09 and haven't really gotten into 10 because everytime I run a Rays game (at the Trop), I get locked up.

I rely on the select button in any game and forget that I can't use it there. Just aggravating.

You certainly can work around it, but it still can hit a wrong nerve. Plus, for those people who don't check OS, they don't know its a bug. I didn't until I searched here.

But I suppose there are other things worth getting ticked about outside a video game.

Wait, so I can't hit select when playing at the Trop or the game will freeze? I was playing game 3 of the ALDS last night at the Trop and the game froze and I had no idea why. Is that the only thing that will cause a freeze at the Trop?

There's an issue in season mode where you can pretty much pick off the cpu's free agents at will.

This game seriously is a glitch fest. Thank god the franchise boat sailed for me a long time ago when it came to baseball games or else I'd be pissed.

Gameplay is phenomenal.
