On the flip side of that, even when the Cubs do bad fans always to their games in real life. I'm torn I kinda like how it is in the 09 game, but maybe the crowds could be scaled down some for certain teams?
Wouldn't this make it impossible for "owners" to ever really progress and increase their profit in franchise? This would just handicap that franchise and make it a team not worth playing because no matter how well I do..no one will show up..that would make it really disappointing and not really worth playing with that team. Dunno maybe just me.

Awesome news (and thanks for all that typing for your part 1 on franchise). If we go into our franchise, and either on our team or a CPU controlled team, we manually injure someone, does that turn injuries off for that franchise, that team, or not at all? I can't find it, but I thought someone said that once you turn on manual injuries, you will not get random injuries in a franchise.

Thats how Id expect it to be, but was wondering if it was possible to start the franchise with all the current injuries (for example, last year with A-Rod hurt, etc) but then once we start the franchise with up to date rosters/injuries, we could then allow our own little franchise world begin with random injuries.

Hey Knight,

After reading your part 1 write-up, one thing that I am really interested in that I was still a little confused on had to do with injuries. From the build you had, sounded like you could do what I wanted.

I would like to control injuries and moves for all 30 teams for the 1st year of my franchise, but then for seasons 2 and on have the injuries turned back to simulated for all teams. You had mentioned being able to toggle on/off lots of different options and it would be great if injuries was one (as well as force trades) but sometimes this is one of those options that you have to pick at beginning of franchise and keep.

Knight,
I brought this up in the roster thread when the fact sheet came out. With the futures game do rosters have the country or at least foreign origin assigned to each player? Or is the future game just the best players playing against each other regardless of nationality?

Thanks for the community feedback guys! You've helped convince an Aussie who doesn't normally follow the sport to give this game a try.

Cheers

Glad to hear it! Not only am I confident that you will love the show, but also that you will start paying a little more attention to real baseball!

Re: Post thoughts here for Community Day Hands-on Impressions

Hey guys, I have two questions:

1) Do the sliders actually work? I am mainly concerned about the ones for lefties and righties. In past years, it seemed that it didn't make much difference. Meaning, say I made a lefty batter's hitting ability against lefty pitchers much worse than his ability against righty pitchers, I would consistently still have very close stats (avgs, homers, etc.) against both lefty and righty pitchers.

2) I know you all said that the builds you played at CD didn't have the latest batting stance and pitching delivery edits. I'm just curious - was that the case last year too at CD? I felt like last year you came back with plenty of info on the stances and deliveries. THANKS GUYS!!
