Will you continue playing this game in the offseason?

This is the question I'm interested in seeing an answer to. Most people play games based on what time of the year it is but because this game is so good I haven't even purchased Madden yet and I doubt I will. I'm not in to football video games right now, I'm locked into this game.

In my franchise I've about made it to August and I'm 57-40 and 6 games ahead of the Mets. I should make the playoffs, after some trades I've made my team is loaded and is set for a few years at least. I do have some interesting decisions to make in the offseason though and I'm really looking forward to the offseason. From the way everyone talks that is a part of this game you really want to try at least once.

So I'm going to keep playing until MLB '10 comes out. How about you guys? Are you going to keep playing even after the playoffs end or will you put the game to the side and play something else?

I usually dont play games just because the sport is in season. As long as I'm still having fun I will continue to play.

My season ended last week with no playoffs. I've yet to dive in to the deep offseason mode. I'll probably do that around Feb/Mar.

After the real season ends, in any sport, my interest kinda goes with it.

As for 10, money's tight, so 09 will have to last awhile. Which I know it will!

baseball is my #1, but I do delve into other games from time to time depending on the season. I have half completed 09 seasons for FIFA and NHL, still haven't dropped the $ to pick up Madden or an NBA game. I've also got partially completed Assassin's Creed, GTA 4, Resistance, Burnout, etc...

but I am into my 2nd season of the Show, which is easily the "newest" game on my list. bought it on drop day, and played the holy hell out of it (never taking it out of the ps3) until about a week ago. but my plan is to get some "final" and throwback roster sets to get me through until spring training and MLB10. I love jumping in and doing a few games or some RTTS when there is snow on the ground every season I say that I'll save some cash and play through using the older version of the game. but seeing the cases for MLB 07, 08, 09 on the shelf tell the story of where my money always goes!

I typically move from sport to sport by the season. I've already kind of gotten sick of NCAA 2010 and i'm not a big NFL fan. I'm waiting for Knight's rosters and plan to start a dynasty after that. I expect it will hold me over for a while.

I have Madden and NHL but neither of those games are close to the Show. I will be playing for a long time to come.

I'll likely plug it after this season is over in but only to simulate the remaining seasons and manage the off-season. I've played every single game of a 162 schedule and playoffs and it starts to wear thin.

Making the switch to year 2 franchise on NHL and Madden 10 after I win the World Series.

I've been playing nothing but The Show since December 2008. The only other game I will probably play is the new Call of Duty next month. Otherwise, The Show is a year round game for me.
