Could SCEA do this ? Great feature

To all you Tech heads would it be possible to use SCEA weekly online roster moves and apply them to our franchises or seasons modes without affecting the our season stats ?
Just the transactions would change Real weekly MLB trades , lineup changes , DL ect not the stats .
I think that would be so cool but is the tech there ?

I never understood why some people think this is a great idea. Let's say you are playing a franchise and have a team that you have built up and are happy with. Now, in real life, one of your players is traded to another team. Now all your work is gone, because the game placed them on their real life team. How is that fun?

Its for people who play real baseball real rosters not that fantasy stuff or loading teams up with stars or fake players .
It would be a great option to add on each week from SCEA online

I agree. If I want to use the Jays with Live Roster and play a season my pitching staff is decimated forever? Live Roster is useless at this point. Great game though.

What I would like to see is real lineup moves without affecting player edits. For example, if I download a roster (SCEA official roster or one from the Roster Vault), I lose all of my personal edits. To keep my edits, I use my own roster but have to keep on top of all of the roster moves. That would just be for exhibition games and not for franchise, but still. I want to download SCEA's roster for all of the up-to-date transactions, but then all of my stances, stats, accessories, music, and everything else would go away.

They can't even put a new patch up without screwing up existing saved games and now you want them to purposely play around with existing saved games?

Sounds like a recipe for disaster!

How is it useless?? It may be useless for you because you play fantasy, but for me and others, it would be awesome. Don't say something is useless just because you wouldn't use it. They could make it an option....you could use their live roster update or not.
