I currently have a franchise with teh Marlins, i was in the top 5 in K's, averaging 8-12 in a full game. After making a few trades, getting Lincicum and Grienke, i seem to have fell off, i have played a few games with my 2 new aces and not once have i gotten over 4. It seems that either i have a very good game. strikeout wise, or a bad game.

Veteran, Meter, default sliders.

Out of curiosity, how many strikeouts do you guys average in a game? And what was your highest strikeouts in a game.

I was averaging around 5 on HOF/Meter/Default before dropping down to All Star/meter/default (I'm so ashamed LOL) and my first two games on all star I k'ed 8 and 10. I felt pretty good about them too no cheesy k's. They were all set up with good pitches.

I voted 4-7 but I should note that I play with the Pirates who don't really have any strike out pitchers.

I'm sure with a team that has good stike out pitchers I could get between 8 and 12 a game.

My game-high with a player is 8 (Galarraga) and 10/11 with the team. I average about 5/6 per game

I average about 7k/game, but this is over all my pitchers, not just the starter.

If you just want to know average strikeouts for your starter, then I'm not really sure. 5 might be about right, with 2ks coming from the bullpen.

Also curious, how many times do you guys strike out as the hitter?

Lately, I've been catching the K bug. I would say over the last 10 games I've been sriking out an easy 9-12 times per game. Seems high in my opinion.

I voted 8-11. I like the K and prefer playing with the starters that can get that done and 8-11 is more than average
