Remember, don't fix them until after Spring Training in your Franchise because they scramble again anyway after spring training (unless you plan to play spring training of course, then you would have to redo the lineups/rotations for the CPU after spring training again too).
I spent hours last night doing that for a franchise. And what stinks is I will have to do it again if I want to play with another team since its done in franchise after Spring Training. Oh well, at least I can play again.

I personally don't think the 2nd patch quality has anything to do with 2K, but to each their own.

I never noticed this before the patch, but to be honest with you, I wasn't doing near as much roster editing (or trying to move so quickly before in these screens) either thanks to guys like Knight so maybe it was there before.
All I could find doing searches on here that the first patch did was address the ticker problems and online issues (I think check swings online was one of them), but who knows.
My only guess, and its purely a guess, is that its constantly trying to connect to the Sony Network in the background and is causing slight hiccups when trying to navigate rosters and whatnot. Obviously when you turn the game on without the patch it doesnt just log you out of Sports Connect, it logs you out of your PSN account as well so thats my thoughts on it.

True?
If you just bought the game you did not ever have a chance to get patch 1.01, therefore you have nothing to lose to try this patch (1.06).

If it gets screwy with your game, you can just delete it using the instructions I posted on here a few pages back and start back to out of the box (no patch) (since you never had patch 1.01 anyway, see what I mean?). Deleting the patch is not hard. My 4 year old could do it.

If you get lucky like me, you may not have any problems and get the gain although the gain is not a whole lot.

If you want absolutely no hassles and can live with the previous problems, then don't bother with it, and wait and see what happens.

I restarted my season when the patch came out and had not experienced any real problems (I play with CPU control on), but I just noticed something.

Playing a game against the Cubs, they put Bradley in the leadoff spot and had Soriano in cleanup WITHOUT SUBBING IN ANY PLAYERS DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL LINEUP I HAD SET.

When I saw Bradley leading off, I figured "OK, this happened because someone was given a day off and the CPU logic kicked in." Nope. The comp just decided to switch around the lineup regardless, something I thought this patch fixed.

The "fix" only applies to sim games and it WILL change if there are prior subs, etc.

I'm going to stop short of calling you a real tool because we don't insult people here.

But, I will say that you should go somewhere else.

Perhaps you could attempt to finish school and learn to use the written word in a less 'ignorant' way

Now, I don't want to imply that your post is totally useless. It does serve one purpose.

It highlights the fact that our society has really hit rock bottom and that we need more people to mentor the likes of you.

I feel sorry for the moderators here because you represent the new breed of poster, message board trash.

Here's what you deserve from this community and from the guys at SCEA: a big bowl of dog crap.

There is no business in the world that would deal with you, not one. Were you to talk to any big company's customer service department the way you spew here, they would quickly tell you where to go.

I have a sneaky suspicion that SCEA will not collapse as a business if they don't get your 60 dollars next year.

Similarly, I suspect that advertisers won't stop advertising on this great site if you left.

Now, kindly knuckle drag yourself out of here and don't come back. We will try to go on without you.

No, and with almost 1,000 posts, much of it bickering, there isn't an easy place to go to find out what it didn't fix. Perhaps the Doc can post a new thread with what it did/didn't fix and a few work arounds (how to delete the patch), etc. Trying to look through this thing is a nightmare. Somebody post something, then lock it so people can look there instead of through all this.
