Question about the DL "glitch"

I was reading on here somewhere before about people having trouble with the DL. I can't seem to find it anymore.

I haven't encountered a problem with the DL yet but I heard that if a player gets injured and you place him on the DL that you can't sign a FA to replace him.

I don't know if this is the case but if you put a player on the 15-day DL then he is suppose to count against your 40-man roster. If a player is placed on the 60-day DL then he does not count against the 40-man roster.

So I was wondering if the people that are having the DL "glitch" encounter it while placing a player on the 15-day DL or the 60-day DL?

Re: Question about the DL "glitch"

It's not the 40-man that's a problem. In terms of signing free agents players are counting against the 25-man. When you try to sign a player to replace someone on the DL, it tells you the roster is full. (But the 60-day DL isn't working right, either. Players on the 60 day are still counting against the 40-man.)
