Help with batting

Hey guys,

Without berating me too much, can anybody give me any help with hitting? Pretty much ever since I started playing with Knight's Fixed Rosters, my hitting has tanked. I can get 8 or 9 hits a game, but I also hit into about 4 or 5 double plays. No matter the opposing pitcher or team or the ballpark, the same thing happens. I recently turned on the swing analysis, and I'll hit a pitch in the wheelhouse with perfect timing, and it will be an easy double play. I've tried using the stick to guide my swing, as well as only hitting the swing button. I'm playing on Veteran mostly because I can't score more than 3 runs a game, and even then it's not until the 7th inning. Any ideas or things I'm missing? Thanks for the help!
