Thumbs up How's the framerate in 1080p?

I was thinking about trying 1080p instead of 720p. Is there any framerate issues?

thanks.

Re: How's the framerate in 1080p?

It's definately not as smooth, but a lot of it also depends on your TV's specs and what it's native resolution is...if it's x1080 and has a fast refresh rate, it will probably be better than mine for example. My tv has a native resolution of x720 and i definately feel a bit of input lag mixed with frame rater stuttering.

on most TV's you can't even tell the difference between 1080p and 720p (unless it's like a 52+ inch TV) but if you sit over 6 feet away you won't notice the differences

in most cases, 720p is the way to go considering the game was designed for it and runs smoothest

I have a 6ns response time on a good 120hz sammy tv. 1080p is smmoth with some stadiums, choppy with others.

yeah, it really depends on your TV itself. the newer name brand ones presumably will display the game in 1080p better than others. the 1080p looks fantastic on mine.

So on a plasma, 1080p should be sweet ! Cause their response times are better than lcd's. Can anyone verify this ?

I have a 46" SOny Bravia 1080p w/ 120Hz refresh rate

The game looks and runs beautiful in 1080p - it does have an occasional hiccup in certain stadiums, but nothing that is even close to effecting a game or making me consider going back to 720p

6 nanoseconds, really? I didn't even know that they made TV's with nanosecond response times. I hope you meant milliseconds. If nanoseconds is choppy, then I definitely wouldn't play in 1080p, because mine is 4 ms, and that would seem like slow-motion.
