***Perfect Sliders 2013*** (HOF/AS)

Usual disclaimer i.e. they obviously arent perfect, its simply the name they have been known by for years. Right, now thats out of the way...

I didnt think this years game would require big changes and on the whole it doesnt, however it absolutely DOES require some tweaking, many of them will be the same as other sets but with my own interpretation. The more ive played the more ive definately realised there are some things that need tweaking (and i mean only slight tweaking, not big changes generally).

Anyway, i really, really, really wanted to roll with default HOF this year but alas, as i say, its become painfully obvious that i cant ignore it any longer and that some things do require tuning to give the right balance of offense/defense and fielding.

Im off work today so plan to get a few more games in this morning/afternoon to just be certain in my own head about what really needs moving slider wise, and the adjustments really dont need to be big. These added to the data and stats ive already recorded should give us a good base to work with and have "perfected" if you will around or before OSFM, which is the aim for obvious reasons.

Ill get them up very soon, should be sometime later today, and id also just like to thank everyone who has fired PM's to me for their kind words and well, yes, im back in the game!

I second this! Can't wait, I always use yours as long as they're All-Star difficulty, I'm not a Hall of Fame type of guy but whether or not I use them, I'm sure they'll be great!

"HOF/AS": does that mean that hitting on HOF and pitching on All-star?

No it means they can be used on either HOF or All Star.

Pyscho - I usually use your sliders, for the most part they are dead-on. Just wondering are you taking the "meatball" issue into consideration? Or are you not seeing the issue, or just not weighing it?

Mayimbe - yep im all too aware of it, see the explanation at the end of the sliders regarding it.

Now, get plenty of games in folks and lets get some thoughts rolling between us on where the next tweaks may come.

Remember, winning a game 12-0 or being no-hit etc doesnt prove anything regarding sliders on a one off, this should be able to happen, what i am looking for is thoughts over a 5/6/7/10/15/20 game sample size really, for obvious reasons.

Lets play ball how it was meant to be played!
