I ask because Im using them with the few adjustments that JoeC mentioned a few days ago as he lowered CPU Pitch Control to 4 and CPU Strike Frequency to 2.
What have you seen with these adjustments? Im afraid this may make the Cpu pitcher too wild and throw too many balls.

Thats the batting camera I use as well. I probably should have mentioned that I turned pitch speed down to 1 as apparently Im just way too slow at hitting fastballs even when Im sitting on them.

Catcher 9 is mine as well. I used Offset 6 for a while, but I get bored and switch cameras a lot.

I edited my post but control doesnt equal out to more wild pitches, thats the consistency slider I believe. The problem with control being lower is the pitcher hangs a few extra pitches but more importantly they really struggle to throw strikes consistently as both Cain and Lincecum were throwing far more balls then strikes in my games.

My newest issue seems to be with power, I know people were complaining about too much power but playing as the Dodgers its already tough enough to hit it out in Dodger Stadium so is anyone else having a power outage? In 13 games Ive hit 3 HR's, since lowering the power slider to 4 Ive had 0 HR's, in 10 games mind you, but Ive somehow managed to bang shots off the wall or have them land at the warning track and I cant help but think these might sneak out if I had power back at default. My only gripe is lack of power and my inability to strike the CPU out but the latter might be my own doing.

The reason I'm asking all this stuff is because I recently took your advice and made the switch to Zone... and honestly I'm glad I did, sure I've only played 2 games with Zone but I'm liking what I am seeing...
In relation to this, yes, you can make good contact pitches low/away and up/away, some of this is tied in to the batters individual PCI coverage size which is obviously determined by his attributes. Im batting .259 thru 11 games, im 5-6, 10 homers, 16 doubles, 3 triples and 45 walks, yes 45, im 2nd in MLB, but im a very patient hitter.

Contact with balls outside the zone is harder, naturally, and quite correctly you will swing and miss at these at a fair clip, but it is quite possible to make contact on pitches well outside the PCI shown when you hit R3, even without L-Stick movement.

Glad hitting this way on Zone seems to be helping some of you guys, certainly saved the game for me.

Re: TNK & PsychoBulk ***The Perfect Slider Set 2011 Edition***

After giving up on your sliders a couple of weeks back, I decided to try them again since I'm now better at the game. I tried Zone Hitting without moving the left stick for the first time (switched from Timing), and after just one game I'm sold. The hit variety was fantastic and using Contact swing was critical.

I played as the Royals against the Angels, Hochevar vs Weaver.
I believe it took about 90 minutes to finish the game.

I scored in the first inning after a lead-off walk by Aviles, bunt single by Cabrera and an RBI single by Butler. But I also struck out 3 times. Weaver's changeup and slider got me almost every time.

In the following innings I struggled with the two pitches mentioned above, but I did manage to get a lot of deep counts to drive the pitch count up. This would be huge for me later on.

The Angels scored 3 in the 4th to take a 3-1 lead.

The bottom of the 4th was one of best innings I've ever had. I scored 4 runs which isn't a record for me or anything like that, but I love they way I got those 4 runs.

First batter, Ka'aihue: Walked on a 3-2 pitch.
Second batter, Frenchy: Walked on a 3-2 pitch.
Third batter, Escobar: Sacrifice bunt. (1 out)
Fourth batter, Treanor: Walked on a 3-2 pitch.
Pitch count!
Fifth batter, Getz: RBI groundout (3-6 Fielder's Choice) (2 out).

Alright, that wasn't what I was looking for but at least I scored a run.

Sixth batter, Aviles: RBI single to center.
Tied ballgame, great!
Seventh batter, Cabrera: 2 RBI triple.
Eighth batter, Gordon: F8 (3 out).
5-3 lead!

Weaver had now thrown 91 pitches. That alone felt like a huge victory for me.
He was pulled in the 5th inning after giving up a lead-off double to Butler on a 2-0 pitch.
4.0+ and 94 pitches. (now that was a new record!)

I ended up winning 8-3.
I got 11 hits, the Angels got 5.
I walked 6 times.

Final thoughts: Best. Sliders. Ever.
