They've stated they'll be done sometime tomorrow.

Can someone answer the question about teams calling up players if they are in the minors when the season starts? I use 30 team control but I'm not really concerned about real life injuries.

I wasn't really sure how to search the thread for this other than "Middlebrooks" and that didn't get any results, so: I noticed that Red Sox minor leaguer Will Middlebrooks was listed as "Middlebrook." I didn't really think it was a big deal, it's the first draft of a huge roster, it's an easily fixable mistake, etc. It turns out that there's a hard character limit for last names and that he's a letter shy of it. That was kind of a downer, since I had been planning on doing a Red Sox franchise and he was going to be a big part of it, but now his just barely incorrect name bugs me too much.

Basically what I want to know is A) are there any other big prospects with cutoff names and B) why is there an 11 character limit in the first place? It seems kind of silly, especially when the same organization has Saltalamachia.

Will it be listed somewhere what player was brought up after someone went on the DL/Sent down?

I hate to bring up someone that's not on the actual team.

If you leave ROSTER MOVES or whatever it's called..(I can't remember off hand....not MANAGEMENT...that's hiring firing coaches) the CPU will do it if you use 30 team control and DL players with MANUAL injuries.
If you have injuries on ON....and let the CPU handle roster moves...it will do them

When we edit players....there is a letter limit. Middlebrooks exceeds the limit.

There is a thread with the roster moves. I think strut24 does it.

Aroid....I don't know why the team doesn't DL players.....and I forgot to ask them that once again...sorry.

The White Sox have acquired infielder Jose Castro from the Reds according to Mark Gonzales of The Chicago Tribune (on Twitter). He was assigned to Triple-A Charlotte. Castro, 25, hit .306/.343/.354 in 318 plate appearances in Cincinnati's minor league system last year. He's a .262/.307/.314 career hitter in the minors and has never played in the big leagues.

Re: Operation Sports Full Minors 2012 Roster - Spring Training Edition Available Now

Hi Knight (or whomever can help me out with this rosters question). First of all, thank you so much for all the work this community has done with the rosters. So far, they have been great to play with and I'm really looking forward to the updated version that goes live tomorrow so that I can begin my franchise!

My question is this: I am new to The Show, buy have been furiously reading how to set up the 25 man rosters in franchise mode by manually controlling all 30 teams, etc. I understand how to option the 15 players to the minors who will not be part of the regular season 25 man roster. How do I know which players are the 15 that I need to option to the minors for each of the 30 teams and what level I should option them to? Is there a spreadsheet or website that has been posted for this information? I don't need to manually injure players who are beginning the season on the DL, but would really like to get the 25 man rosters as close to real as possible.

Please help me understand this piece of the puzzle. I would love an answer to this by the time the updated rosters come out tomorrow night!

Thanks!
