Historical stat post-patch fix

1. Delete mlb the show 09 game data from PS3(not save data) and restart your PS3
2. Download the last roster on that page, http://www.operationsports.com/forums/scea-sports-mlb-rosters/312494-operation-sports-full-minors-09-knight-co.html Full Minors 09 Stock Version and put in on a usb stick or sd card and upload it to your ps3
3. Start MLB O9 the show, cancel any UPDATE screens that come up, wait for the data to reinstall, press START to enter the menu.
4. Load the roster you saved to your ps3, check arod and teixiera and their stats should be swapped.
5. Click SC to go online, you'll be asked to update to 1.06, click cancel and you'll be back at the menu again.
6. Check the roster and arod and teixiera should have their real stats back, check other players as well to make sure.
8. Go to the HDD section and save over the old roster with current one.
9.Go to SC again and this time download the patch.
10. Restart PS3, fire up the show, load your roster and it all should be gravy.

WARNING - IF AT ANY POINT YOU SIGN INTO SC AFTER LOADING THE ROSTERS, BACK OUT THEN RE-LOAD THE ROSTERS AFTER YOU HAVE APPLIED THIS FIX, THE STATS WILL MESS UP. DO NOT SAVE. QUIT THE GAME AND RESTART THE GAME. LOAD THE ROSTERS AGAIN AND YOU SHOULD BE OKAY.

Re: Historical stat post-patch fix

I am getting roster is corrupt in step #5. I am using a modified version of the first Knight finished set. If anyone else is using that set and doing this- please let me know if you have success.

Update- Knights worked and mine didn't. I am wondering if its because i made changes and saved after the patch was out. Either way it didn't work. So if others modified their rosters after the patch and do this method (and it works), let me know.

Re: Historical stat post-patch fix

Ok so I deleted the game data again and when I started mlb the show I installed the patch right away. When the game started I loaded the rosters I saved at the end of the procedure. They work straight out of the box as they say it with no problem. That means that as long as the people making the roster did the procedure, it should work for everyone, I HOPE!

That is the save I created a the end of my procedure. If someone who already has the patch installed and DID NOT YET FOLLOW MY PROCEDURE could download it and load them up to see if the stats stuck.

Re: Historical stat post-patch fix

I may be alone but after reading this three times I am really confused. It just seems a bit much to get something like this to work. I guess I'll try it.
