Detroit Tigers Roster Thread

Just thought I'd start this as a thread to edit the Tigers...stances, ratings, etc.

I already saw that Granderson isn't in the top 5 CF list which he most certainly should be, so his ratings are going to need to be upped.

I think the three main CAP's that are going to need to be created are Rick Porcello, Ryan Perry, and Fu-Ne Ti.

I'll see if there's anything glaring tonight after I get the game.

Re: Detroit Tigers Roster Thread

^^I hope your not serious.

Here is the changes I made to the Tigers roster so far

1. I lowered Polanco's power against both left/right and raised his contact against both

2. Verlander only had a running fastball. I gave him a 4 seamer and 2 seamer.

3. I upped Granderson's contact/power against left handers slightly and increased his fielding ability to around 90.

4. I lowered Guillen's power against both right and left handers slightly and increased his contact against both.

I still have look at everybody else though and compare there ratings to the stats from mlb.com.

I plan on going through every team like last year and editing and using mlb.com to do it.

^Yeah, my first game I played, Polanco had a cycle (first at-bat was a homer). I think his power is a little too high, especially since I suck at hitting.

Willis is probably too good. He's one of their best starters on the default settings and yet may not even make the rotation.

Everett is rated one of the highest players on the team because of his defensive abilities...not sure how to change that though. He is a great defensive player, but isn't "good." It's on Sony though, they put too much weight into defensive ratings IMO.

I think Willis is just about right. He has horrible control in the game, which is dead on.
