He's making $3.8m this year. Still has three more years of team control. I think they'll try and lock up either him or Beachy next winter.

I hope the Braves have plans to expand the payroll.

The Julio deal makes sense because his arbitration years are probably going to be more expensive than what we are getting him for. I'm not sure how I feel about Kimbrel's deal right now. I love the fact that we have him for the next 4 years now, but that is a big chunk of the total payroll for a guy who only plays 60-70 innings all year.

I've gone through enough garbage bullpens to know the value of someone there to lock down games.

Couldn't be happier to have Kimbrel locked in.

I am a happy, proud Atlanta Braves faithful. 40 years old, 35 years Braves strong!!! Signed and sealed: Heyward, Freeman, Teheran and Kimbrel for 2 years or more... This is what I wanted them to do if they did not resigned Huddie or BMac.

Some naysayers might say that this doesn't guarantee a World Series ring or two. But I feel you have to be in the fight, to win the battle... This assures us as fans that the Braves organization are committed to win the battle.. Which is a World Series... Go Braves! Lets go!!!

Not going to happen until someone else buys them. With the new park they may increase, but only if the are making a lot more.

The Braves just extended the contracts of Fredi G and Mr. Wren. I am not sure of the details.
