I know MLB 2K13 is going to come out real soon, but I'm kinda curious to give 2K12 a whirl due to its price on Amazon ($27). I haven't bought a MLB game since 2K6, the 1st on Xbox 360. Any suggestions are appreciated.

You should be able to find 12 a lot cheaper than that. Might want to try 11 I think it is the better game.

2k12 is a fairly solid game, and a big change from the kush era of the game. Most are expecting 2k13 to be a more polished version of 2k12 - so if you can afford the extra $, you may want to wait a few weeks and just get 2k13. If not, at $20: 2k12 is a good buy.

Not if you own a PS3... that is like buying a Sega game when MLB The Show is on the market...

Mlb the show is a good game if you like "pick up and Watch" type games but if you prefer to play a true sim then MLB2K is the way to go.
