/facepalm...you would've thought he would get injured well before 56 pitches

What do you have pitcher fatigue set at? What were his original PC PCap?
59-74 seems low for a starter.

Was it the CPU that kept him in? How was he pitching? Was this in the franchise mode? Was the bullpen worn down?

I don't think there was nearly enough said.

Not surprised it's a Nationals pitcher...

Fatigue is set at whatever the All-star default is. That was his original PCap, don't know why it was so low.

CPU kept him in and he was actually pitching well..throwing mostly strikes.

It was in franchise mode and I'm not sure what there bullpen was looking like.

I wrote about this a good month ago. I noticed the CPU would routinely leave its starter in with 0 energy for 3, 4 or 5 extra innings as long as he wasn't getting hit. And with no change in his effectiveness other than the speed of his pitches dropped down several MPH when pitching on 0 energy. A huge flaw in the programming AI for sure. BTW this was with Quick games (not Franchise) and a CPU bullpen at 100% energy.

Re: How not to manage a pitcher

This is closely enough related that I don't want to start a fresh thread.

I'm doing a franchise with PHI and Halladay took the mound for his 7th start of the year. After a couple of innings I noticed that "are you gonna do a mound visit" graphic come up and I thought hey, what's going on? I looked at the PC/AP and it said that he only had like 35 AP. I've never seen that before. He didn't miss any days of rest or anything. I had to pull him after 3 because I was deathly afraid he'd get hurt.

Has anyone else seen this or have any idea why it happened?
