Pitch Speed Differential
Why is there a drastic difference in pitch speed when you play on-line as opposed to face-to-face? A friend and I have tried playing the game both ways. Face-to-face we use a pitch speed of 65, but when playing on-line we have to substantially reduce the pitch speed to 55, which still doesn't adequately adjust for the greater on-line speed of the pitches. On-line, even with the reduction to 55, change-ups are whizzing past us like fastballs.
