No K-zone and pitch tip question

After trying to find out a set-up I enjoy to start a franchise, I like turning the strike zone off. Looks cleaner, and I just have to hit my catchers spot (unless it's a high slider 4 times in a row)

I was wondering though, with the strike zone off as a batter, does the pitch tip (or whatever the blue bar that shows up) never come up then?

Thats right

But you can set srike zone off just for pitching but on while batting if that is what you want.

I think option is "Batter" for that
