Drag bunt help

How do you drag bunt? Whenever I try I either try to bunt way too late and the ball is past me, or I press x too early and square around to sacrifice.

Haven't seen a drag bunt. Unfortunately, think it is one of those two steps forwards, one step back lost elements of baseball that 2K10 seems to be full of. Hopefully, this is patchable.

I do it all the time, you gotta tap x right when the pitcher releases and aim with the left stick.

I'll have to try that. Everything else I've tried results in a delayed animation and strike.
