Who's off the fence now about buying the game?

Hopefully this thread is not looked down upon, but here are my thoughts after the demo release and seeing the impressions...

I was pretty sure that I would not be purchasing 2K10 after last year's debacle. I was trying to find a way to find other means of gaming rather than relying on 2K to put out a good baseball game. I always held on to cautious optimism, a term that has gotten a lot of burn when talking about 2K10. I just didn't feel like 2K was capable of it, but after watching videos, reading insights and hearing other gamer's impressions of the demo, I am thinking that I will definitely be a buyer.

It will be hard to not buy on release day, as I am really craving a good baseball game, but I will do my best. Maybe the hype is undeserved right now and we really won't know what this game is about until the middle of March or so, but I am thinking that I am in the camp of buyers as of right now, unless something really drastic changes that.

I hear ya, I lost my faith in 2k baseball. Its been just terrible the past few years. That was the whole reason I bought a PS3, I need a good baseball game. Unless it gets outstanding reviews from everybody, 2k baseball is a no-go

I'm off the fence and my money is going to 2k. Eve since they talked about having a complete developemen cycle to finish they I was I thinking about getting it.

But, after the demo, MLB Today, My Player, vids, insights, and hearing about in game saves... I'm sold.

Well, I'm off the fence and in 2K's yard...but I'm still close enough to it to run away.

Yeah, I pretty much feel the same way. MLB Today is going to be cool, and the My Player feature will probably get a lot of my time. I am going in with the expectation that My Player will be a fun mode with perhaps it's share of glitches due to it being a completely new mode.

I still don't expect a great game... but with everything I've seen, it's on the way to big things. I'm cool with getting a good game this year that will be built upon. I think we're going to see that with 2K10.

Are you kidding me, on the fence? How can any sensible person not be on the fence given this title's sorry history?
I will be patient and wait for credible feedback on the forums before deciding, paying no attention to the regular company shills who give every new release the rubber stamp of approval (you know who you are).

Re: Who's off the fence now about buying the game?

I want to play this game online, and I have heard NOTHING about the online play in this game. Even after playing the demo, I am very skeptical about this game, and I will wait until all the reviews and user comments come out before I decide if it warrants a purchase.
