Re: New Screens

by looking at the comparison shots from 2K9 and 10, graphically there is not much of a difference. This probably isn't a good sign. Obviously 2K knows how to get our attention with decent looking screenshots. Gameplay...that's another story.

Re: New Screens

Doesn't look like they touched the graphics or player models much. It's all about gameplay, animations, AI and framerate.
The AI from 2K9 needed to be completely scrapped & rewritten IMO.

Re: New Screens

There's something weird about 2K's graphics now (since VC took over)... there's some sort of weird "orange tint" to them that I can't quite put my finger on, it's strange in some way. I could especially tell in the demo, and I can tell in that BTP cam shot. You can tell off the jerseys that there's some weird hue going on with this game, and I don't know if it's intentional or not, but I don't like it. Sadly, I don't know if they got rid of it.

Re: New Screens

The lighting in the new shots look much better. If the same overall graphic look gets better lighting AND redone animation... the MLB2K franchise will look better than it has in three years.

I agree as it also happen in the NHL 2k series a few years ago with the player models as they were near perfect ?
Well eitherway as long as they dont look blurry and the screen holds the framrate for the ps3 Im very intrigued by the fact sheet info if implemented correctly especially hit, pitch and MLB Today .

So, is there any reason why the stats on the scoreboard in Citi Field don't take up the whole screen? Did they do that in last years game? All of that black space looks really weird.

Screens look good and the player models look redone. I like it so far.
