Pitchers hit eighth
At least they do for the St. Louis Cardinals. I think LaRussa put the pitcher in the eighth spot all of last season, mixed it around in 2007, and has already come out and said the pitcher will hit eighth this season. So....why can't I move the pitcher up in the lineup in 2k9? Am I missing something? Every time I've tried, the pitchers name is grayed, making him unselectable. Does anyone know if its possible to move the pitcher in the lineup? You'd think a developer of baseball video games would have someone who pays attention to little details like this and that it would be pretty simple to let a user put together a lineup anyway he pleases. If someone wants a pitcher in the clean up spot, who does it hurt? Why take away the option?
