Why is the computer all of a sudden upstoppable in the 9th inning when they are down by a run or 2??

I cannot win a close game!!

I wonder if this explains the lack of saves that people are getting in simmed Franchise seasons.

I've had a couple of close games going into the 9th and pulled out the win. I beat the Angels with the Dodgers 4-3 and beat the Nationals with the Braves 2-1. In both 9th innings I brought out the closer and only allowed 1 hit in the Dodgers game and none in the Braves game.

5th/6th is my enemy. No matter how strong my starter is pitching and how high hos stamina is, I struggle

I do agree the computer gets on hot streaks and i cant get anything out. No certain inning for me but thats real life.

Hmm...haven't run into this one. I've just recently played 2 close games (decent games overall too) and won them both 2-0 (Giants over Nats), and 4-2 (Braves over Braves...lol...was doing some testing

).

No issues there...

On a side note, if I do decided to eventually get the PC version, Timmy will be in my rotation no matter what team I use. He's a blast to pitch with for some reason (not just because he's good...lol).

Is the A.I "Skill" slider in 2k9?

In 2k8, if you had this slider any higher than 25, the A.I would pull off some ridiculous comebacks.
