classic pitching mode

I was wondering if in 2k9 you can revert back to the pitching style that was in 2k7 which was using the buttons to pitch.

more then likely as they usually always give you the option to revert, as it already has been confirmed for hitting you can go back to button pushing, so i would assume pitching and fielding will have those options also

This series has removed options every year, not added them. Since 2K5, they've removed classic pitching, effort pitching, zone hitting and cursor hitting. Plus they've removed the option to shut off ball cursors, pitch targets, etc. So nothing is guaranteed.

I personally want to see the return of classic pitching with the ability to shut off all visual aids while pitching. That specific style of pitching was last seen in 2K6, I believe it was.

espn 2k4 had an excellent classic pitching option with a control variability slider, i wish they would bring that one back.

I would guess they would have to have classic in there.
They just couldnt have stick ?
I actually started using meter pitching in the show and now love it.
But depending on the game and hows it plays detirmes what Ill use.
Plus you gotta be able to turn off displays .

They removed the classic pitching option a couple of years ago and replaced it with a kind of hybrid system with "effort" circles and a pitch target. It would have been okay except they removed the option to shut off the circle/target icon. Then last year they even removed that system (as I recall). The K-zone option was the other and only alternative.
