I thought that too...kinda plastic. But remember, it's a still. What I mean is that 2K has had pretty good cloth physics in these games the last couple years. It could just be the way the uniform "tightened" during that motion.

Or...they could just suck...lol. Hard to tell from a couple of pics. I'm more hopeful that these pics will lead to some type of information flow than from the pics themselves to be honest. Hopefully this was more than throwing us a bone. A kind of "FINE! Stop bugging us for stuff!" info release...lol. We'll see.

Exactly. Even the lower deck at Wrigley of a Cubs-Cardinals game looked sparsely-populated. Blurry or not, the crowd looks packed, and doesn't look like it's repeating the same 4 people over and over again.

Trust me, when/if they release a video, it'll be the same thing.
Ummm, I gave my opinion that graphics mean nothing. Not once have I posted that I wanted to see a screenshot or cared about graphics. 2k have been unable to make a decent baseball game yet. They disappoint everyone every year. Ea's MVP 05 is STILL better than anything 2k has put out and you have the GALL to say "they can't win???????" hhahahahahahahahahah

I'll tell you a little secret..........they can win. Make a smooth running quality game that plays like MVP 05 and looks like the Show.

Then we all win.

I like what I see so far and if it looks that good in motion we may be onto something.

I think we get that it's a blur effect. The point was that it's interesting one could jump to a conclusion about "great" looking crowds in a blur like that.

And I doubt that anyone saying anything about how the crowd in that pic blows The Show out of the water, has played The Show on a PS3 in Hi-def. Other than repetative fans, the crowd looks good in that game.

To each his own, though.

Re: First Screens on Pastapadre...

On a sort of side note with the shots, who do you think the Giants are playing? With the Dodgers being their rival team and all (and slightly resembling them as well as their away logo on their jersey), I would say that it is them. Though there is a slight hint of purple on their hats that would make me think otherwise.

The only other reason I would think this is the Dodgers is because the person on the bottom right hanging on the dugout railing resembles Joe Torre, almost down to the way he's watching the game.

My eyes must be shot from smoking dope in the 70's and 80's. Maybe you could point out to me which hazy blob looks three-dimensional.

Re: First Screens on Pastapadre...

It doesn't look bad but it's hard to tell how much they've improved until you see some video. Still, I like what I see here and perhaps this will be the start of a media blitz.
