living rosters

When updating roster with "living rosters", do the rosters in your franchise automatically update? Just wandering, because otherwise what would be the point??

Thanks in advance for anyones input!

No it does not effect your franchise. You would have to start over. The point is as it is with any Roster update. I personally would not want it to do it to my franchise as that would piss me the hell off.

Re: living rosters

so, it only updates the "default" roster, not the one you use in franchise mode....correct?

I guess I'm not sure how we benefit from having an updated, but unused roster.

I'm playing w/ the Reds....if Jay Bruce gets hot in real life, the default roster (which I'm not using) will reflect this, but not my franchise roster......to me this makes no sense.

Those of us that play strictly in Franchise mode won't really benefit, but not everybody plays in Franchise mode all the time. I don't think that there's really a way for 'living roster' to integrate in an existing franchise because then it would have to overwrite your franchise. I don't think people want that, either.

Re: living rosters

The update deletes all your CAP's too.

REALLY pissed me off having to create QUITE A FEW players over!!!

GREAT FEATURE but it shouldn't erase your CAP's!!

I agree that it would suck to have your franchise overwritten, I guess I just thought that maybe the player ratings would get tweaked up or down when the roster would get updated.

Maybe weekly I'll go in and update my teams player attributes on a weekly basis, based on the living roster changes. Only the main attributes. If Jay Bruce, or whoever, gets hot in real life, I want my franchinse Jay Bruce to get hot as well.

Re: living rosters

I think they are waiting for Opening Day to do another living roster.
