How to run the speed option.
tap the cover up button rapidly post snap until you see what the defender is doing then make a play.

what's the point of running it this way as opposed to making the read while on the run with the QB? I can't imagine this works at all against human opponents who would figure out after seeing it once to RB - commit and simply user control another defender at your now standing still QB.
