PS3 super slim 12GB - sufficient for Madden 13??

Gents,

I'm about to buy a PS3 console pretty much exclusively for Madden :-)

I have a GREAT offer for super slim PS3 with 12 GB HDD (new version). However, I'm REALLY concerned whether that is sufficient for playing the game??

Some things to consider:
- Will play madden from a CD (not an on-line download or anything)
- Will use it mostly for offline coach mode (ex franchise mode)
- Will pretty much not use the console for other games, to store extra crap, etc.

All those things considered - is this (12 GB HD) sufficient for Madden?
Does anyone have any relevant experience with this?

Much appreciated.

I don't think madden takes that much.

You can't install Madden 13 on the PS3. All the game save sizes are negligible when talking about a 12GB HDD.

Madden doesn't have a mandatory install so you will be fine. I think the OP is talking about a new model of PS3 that has a 12 GB SSD drive, not a hard disk. If you are using the console only for Madden, you'll be fine but a lot of PS3 games have mandatory installs that can be up to 5GB so be warned you would run out of space real quick if you are going to play any other games.

Hey guys - thanks for all your responses...

Looks like I might as well go for it, as I most definitely will not playing any other games (no time, and the time I have is reserved for Madden).

If there is no mandatory install for Madden 13 - guess 12 GB SDD would be sufficient for basic game saves (franchise save, etc.)....

And after all - there should be an option to expand memory size (or is there?) if I run into trouble??

Thanks for all the insights.
