Any word on the freezing issues?

Its driving me crazy! Cant play CCM it freezes all the damn time!

I've had a case logged with EA for 19 days now because it freezes every time I play a game - whether it's 1 minute or 15, online or offline, CCM, UT, H2H...

All I've heard back from them is one email on day 3 asking which console I use (which was specified when I opened the original case).

My patience is wearing thin incredibly quickly.

yea theres also a freezing glitch with the new roster update as well not sure if its with all teams but i know it happens with the browns if u try edit there rosters for play now.... if u try edit the 2 rookie they added in game tashaun gipson or johnson badeosi it will freeze the game up.

theres also the issue with the new patch and update where ps3 wont shut off right and u get 2 beeps and then msg your ps3 didnt shut off right... i found a work around for that till they fix it just have click the auto sign in to off and then once u go into madden u sign into ea servers.... only set back is u cant see when your buddies sign online.

There's some sort of memory leak when you play too often in online ccm. After playing a few games, checking stats, then going to depth chart or a draft, the game freezes on the screen when you press L2 or R2 to change the drop down menu.

I've been having the freezing problem on 2 different models of xbox 360. I contacted EA about it and after a few days received a response. They made it like it was a system problem. Clearly it is not as the freezing happens on both an older xbox and a new slim.

Through my own research on the web I found a recommendation whereby you install the game on the HDD and save game files to the Cloud. This worked for awhile until it started giving me a disc read error. I even tried installing the game on an external HDD and saving game files to the Cloud. Same disc error, but no freezing. Clearly there is a problem with the game disc itself or the game files as the freezing problem occurs on both xbox and PS3.

Where so many are able to play the game, EA may not be properly motivated to fix the problem. It may be a certain series of disc as well. What I am trying next is I ordered another disc, this time through Costco. It is my understanding that it is possible to return games, even if opened, to Costco (especially if you tell them it is defective and return it soon after purchase). Perhaps this will resolve the problem as I find it hard to believe that the game will play on some systems and not others.

My PS3 freezes every time I quit and try to eject the game. This is extremely frustrating.

there's a work around for that

step 1. got to your gamertag click auto log in to off.

step 2 . go into madden sign into ea servers and u can play online or franchise.

step 3. when u shut off your ps3 shouldnt freeze or get the 2 beeps.

I just save after I do anything so much freezing on the ps3s, another reason to show you that EA doesn;t beta test.
