Change coach scheme in ccm

I've looked like everywhere and can't find where or if u can change your created coach in ccm scheme. U can change individual positions but not your coaches scheme. It would be really stupid to not beable to change your overall scheme.

I started a thread on this a while back. You cant change it. You also cant change your run/pass ratio once youve started, which to me, is a significantly bigger issue.

This is what happened to me. I was the Colts. I started off with a run heavy offense, I believe the ratio was 60/40 run/pass, that way I could take the pressure off Luck while he is young.

After about 3 years Luck is a 90+, I have Jimmy Graham and Hernandez at TE, and Julio Jones and Green at WR. My RB is a 79. Well logically, now I'm going to pass more and would like to switch to more of a 40/60 or 30/70 run/pass. Well guess what? Tough, you cant do it. I was forced to continue to go run heavy since I cant changed it.

So instead of having the dominant pass offense my team is built to run, I only end up with about 3400 yards passing with a high QB rating and good TD/INT ratio, meanwhile I end up with 1300 rushing averaging 3.1 a carry.

It's extremely aggravating, since when I started my Colts franchise I didnt know that. So for someone like me, who doesnt like to play every game, its not even fun since I cant manage my team and my stats come out shiitty on both ends.

What i don't like is the coaches weekly goals. I want to be a power run team and all I do is run but my coaches goals are all about passing. Pretty stupid. I bet if my scheme was power run I'd have more rushing goals.

Supposedly the team schemes change automatically once you have the necessary personnel for the scheme.

But Idon't like how that is implemented

I have yet to see this and it doesn't make sense if that's how it's supposed to work.

Nowhere else in the game do you have to adjust the pieces to make the whole picture change. You adjust sliders and settings to reach a desired effect, not the other way around.

Besides that, that means I would have to sign a bunch of players who don't fit my scheme just to "maybe" get the scheme to change? But again, I've never seen a scheme change.

For example... I had a Power Run, Base 4-3 scheme with Jeff Fisher. I retired him and took over the same team with a created coach using the same schemes. Magically the team schemes had shifted to West Coast and Spread... what???

The players were the same as before, so that blows the theory about players making the scheme right out of the water.

This whole scheme issue is really getting on my nerves and the misinformation about it isn't helping matters.

yea I don't like it either, I created a coach for the Browns with the patriots offense in mind and I'm stuck with a west coast offense scheme.

This part is very concerning to me, although it might show what ggsimmonds said as being accurate. Certainly not something I'm willing to test, as I feel like I'd eventually throw my xbox out a window.
